Our Office
Our office is open Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm and Fridays from 9am to 2pm. We have licensed medical assistants, medical billers, and other support staff to assist you with all your office needs. Please give us a call. We look forward to meeting you.
After Hours Urgent Medical Needs:
If you are an existing patient and have an urgent medical need, please call 310-895-2541. A provider is on call 24 hours a day. Your call will be returned promptly.
Cancellation and No-Show Appointments
Payments are due at the time of each visit. Cancellations should always be made at least 48 business hours (or 2 business days) prior to an appointment time. Business hours are considered weekdays and exclude holidays. Cancellations made less than 48 hours ahead of time and no shows are charged the full session fee. All appointments are sent text reminders that must be confirmed 24 hours in advance
Mental Health Records
Treatment records are kept in accordance with legal and professional standards. At Psychiatry Unplugged we use electronic records that send email reminders and allow you to register through a patient-centered portal. This system is HIPPA compliant and user friendly. If medical records need to be sent on your behalf, please complete a consent for release of information. This important form maintains your confidentiality. You will be in charge of who receives your medical information. We will always keep your records private. Charges may apply for medical record requests.

Medication policy
Medications used need to be monitored closely. You will be given enough medication to last to your next appointment. If you need refills on your medication, please arrange an appointment before you run out. Our medical assistants are available to advise and provide the earliest appointment possible.
Disability paperwork
Once your care plan is developed it might be important to take a leave of absence or disability time from work or school. Bring up your concerns with our doctors and bring these forms for your doctor to complete during your office visit. We do not submit disability requests online.
Electronic mail policy
Email is not a confidential means of communication. If you need to communicate with our office for routine matters it is best to call. If you have other concerns, each office has a licensed medical assistant (MA) to help you. This policy is in keeping with HIPAA laws and your confidentiality. Our electronic medical records and payment software will send email appointment reminders and receipts and will not include any sensitive medical data.
